This installation features 4-5 surfaces filled completely black by drawing simple shapes using charcoal on them. The shapes were circles, triangles, squares and lines and only one shape was used in each of the pictures. chose these simple shapes because their sounds were easily recognisable. The sounds of the process of drawing on each surface has been recorded by a contact microphone and are played back in a loop from the transducer speakers which were attached to the back of the wooden surface and were therefore invisible. The spectators can listen to these white noises1 which have the respective rhythmic and aural patterns of the black forms on the pictures. The sounds of the shapes create dynamic compositions of the noises in the space.
